Institut für Geotechnik
The Institute of Geotechnics, together with the “Association of Friends of the Institute of Geotechnics at TU Darmstadt (e.V.),” organizes a major Geotechnics Colloquium with a technical exhibition each March. The aim of the colloquium is to promote professional exchange on all topics related to geotechnical engineering. The 31st Geotechnics Colloquium will take place on March 16, 2028.
Due to the spread of coronavirus infections, we were forced to cancel the Darmstadt Geotechnical Colloquium in 2021.
As an alternative, the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering launched the lecture series GeoTalks@TU Darmstadt, featuring nine lectures on topics from both academia and professional practice. Recordings of the lectures are available on our website.
