Deepening the intercultural and language skills of the young members of the association is very important to the association. For this reason, the association supports the endeavours of students in the Geotechnics research specialisation to visit other countries. The aim of the funding is to make it easier for students to study abroad. For this purpose, a scholarship totalling 1000 euros is made available. Half of the amount is paid out before and half after the stay. Sponsored students are encouraged to report on their stay abroad and their personal experiences at the following general assembly in order to share the knowledge they have gained.
The application for the scholarship is made by submitting a one-page letter of motivation and the completed application form (PDF file) (opens in new tab) to the contact person of the association at the institute, Mr Johannes Otte. The Executive Board decides on the funding and allocation of the scholarship.
