The aim of the association is to support research and teaching at the Institute of Geotechnics. The funding of the association is based on membership fees and donations. These funds are used to promote and honour outstanding students, to support student events, such as excursions, but also to interlink research and engineering practice. Central elements here are the communication of current research results in practice and the organisation of the Darmstadt Geotechnics Colloquium.

With your donation you support us in training and honouring the next generation of geotechnical engineers and also promote the close interaction between geotechnical research and practice.
