The 31st general meeting of the Friends of the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 16:00.

During the event, the sponsorship prizes for the outstanding student theses of 2024 will be awarded. The award winners will also present their work.

From around 6 p.m., we cordially invite you to end the evening in the experimental hall of the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering (building L5|04) with an informal network meeting.

Your physical well-being will of course be catered for in the form of buffet-style dishes and drinks.

Take this opportunity to talk to students and staff of the Institute of Geotechnical Engineering and gain an insight into the latest developments. Among other things, you can view the new high-performance hydraulic unit and the new test rigs on site. We will also be offering a tour of our new, fully equipped soil mechanics laboratory from the beginning of 2025.
